Why Asia? Why Asia? Why? Why Asia
Over the years, there has been a great move of God in Asia that has been witnessed by great revival in Korea, Singapore and house church in China. Its through this, the Kenyan key church leaders went to visit Asia (India, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Mainland China)
The objective of the trip was to have; mission exposure, Cross-cultural experience, network, partnership and alliances and to share what God is doing in Africa and Kenya in particular.
Key opportunities available in Asia;
1. India
• Key opportunity to host Kenya teams for short term mission experience
and also training youth pastors especially the 1628 ministry strategy
in ywam
• The living cost is cheap; cost per person for a day will cost USD 20.
• Ministry to the poor
• How to reach to Indians -Hindus
2. Singapore
• Strategic place to expose people to urban ministry and high tech church
administration skills
• Experience diverse ministry expressions.
• Learn how to organize for a church event or movement
• City vision that gives unity in the body of Christ – Love Singapore
3. Indonesia
• Slum ministry
• School ministry
• Business People fellowship
• Media Ministry
• How to reach to Muslims
4. Hong Kong
• Revival movement and listen to great testimonies about China ministry
• Hong Kong a symbol of gate to Mainland China
5. China
• Bible smuggling experience
• Underground Church movement
• Leadership training opportunities and teaching opportunity
The trip was attended by senior pastors in NPC Woodley, NPC Central, NPC Buru, NPC South, Parklands Baptist, Lovington United, leaders from Switzerland and France. It was facilitated by glifa ministries. Email: info@glifakenya.org
